Agent’s Representative Course in Real Estate

The first step to work in real estate or to become a licensed real estate agent (Certificate IV in Property Services) in Victoria is to complete the Agent’s Representative course.

The REIV Agent's Representative course:

  • is provided over 5 days with flexible learning options to study part time or by distance learning
  • is presented by experienced, professional trainers currently working in the real estate industry

As the peak body of the Victorian real estate industry, training at the REIV opens new opportunities in real estate. The REIV is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #4042) providing nationally recognised training and qualifications.

This course will provide you with the training required to work in real estate as an agents' representative. An agents' representative can be authorised to perform the functions of an estate agent under the supervision of an estate agent.

The course consists of three units of competency from the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate):

CPPDSM4080A Work in the Real Estate Industry
CPPDSM4007A Identify Legal & Ethical Requirements of Property Management to complete agency work
CPPDSM4008A Identify Legal & Ethical Requirements of Property Sales to complete agency work
