Traineeships

REIV Traineeships offer you the opportunity to combine work and study as you complete your license course

Complete the CPP40307 - Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) at the same time as you enter or continue to work in the industry. The program is delivered through a combination of workplace training, REIV trainer support, learning materials and workplace visits.

Traineeships are an effective and efficient way to complete your licence course while continuing to build practical skills in the workplace.

The full licence qualification offers a range of opportunities to develop your career prospects. As a licensed estate agent, you can act on behalf of a vendor, landlord, purchaser or tenant in Victoria to sell, lease or manage real estate or business.

Eligibility
A traineeship may be offered to an individual who is employed on a full or part-time (minimum 13 hours per week) basis in the real estate industry.

Duration
The REIV will work with the employer and trainee to develop an individualised training
plan. Trainees have up to 24 months to complete the course. 

Delivery
The trainee will have access to an experienced and qualified REIV trainer-assessor.
The trainer will have at least monthly contact with the trainee through workplace visits, phone
discussions and/or other means.

Fees
The student fees are dependent on the individual’s eligibility for Victorian Government funding (Skills First). This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. Learn more about Fees, Charges & Refunds.

The trainee will receive REIV learning material to support their on-the-job learning.
