Eltham North is located 21 km north-east of the CBD. Eltham North has been one of the fastest growing new suburbs in Melbourne over the last twenty years and one of the major areas of new residential development in the north-eastern suburbs. The area has a large proportion of affluent high income households with more than 80% above the state average household income. The area has also many large families with about a quarter of all households having five or more people. The suburb also features the Alan Marshall Reserve and the Dalvida Reserve.
