REIV elects 4 directors; long-serving board members lauded for contributions

The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) has elected two new directors to its board and farewelled two more long-standing board members.
 
Award winning auctioneer Adrian Butera and buyers’ agent Mark Errichiello have been elected to the REIV Board after the Metropolitan Zone elections closed last Friday (25 October 2023).
 
Existing directors Sam Hatzistamatis, a senior property manager, and Jacob Caine, a licensed real estate agent, agency owner and current REIV Senior Vice President, were re-elected for another three year term. 
 
The REIV Board farewells current President Andrew Meehan and Past President Leah Calnan.
 
Mr Meehan (REIV Board 2020 – 2023) is retiring from real estate having recently sold his award-winning business. Ms Calnan who completes the permitted nine years (REIV Board 2014 – 2023) as a director, has today also been acknowledged as an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (AREI).
 
CEO Quentin Kilian applauded the REIV’s departing directors and welcomed the two new Board members.
 
“Leah and Andrew have made an important contribution to the real estate sector over the past decade and, on behalf of the REIV and its membership, I thank them for their service,” Mr Kilian said.
 
“In Adrian and Mark we have two highly regarded and experienced property sector specialists joining the Institute’s board and they will no doubt make an impact at a leadership level.”
 
The new REIV directors take office on 1 October 2023.
