This is the first step towards becoming a licenced real estate agent.

Successful completion of CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice requires completion of 18 units.

This includes 5 core and 13 elective units. All electives from at least 2 groups must be included. The REIV Agent's Representative Course has been created with all electives from Group A and Group B plus 3 units from other groups that were considered important for a person starting in real estate.

The Units below have been selected by the REIV to complete the required 18 Units of study for the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.

Students must:

• be over 18 years of age

• ​be authorised to study in Victoria**

• undertake their training in the State of Victoria.

• In order to complete course assignments, students will need access to a computer with reliable internet connectivity, with Microsoft Word 2007 or later (or compatible software) and Adobe Reader, as well as printer and scanner.

• Students are expected to have a good understanding of the English language as the interpretation & application of legislation is a large part of the course.

The REIV is not CRICOS approved and is not permitted to deliver to international students.  The REIV will not accept any enrolment if a valid green medicare card cannot be provided. Intentionally enrolling without acceptable evidence of residency status will result in cancellation of enrolment at any time and no refund is possible.   
The REIV is not permitted to deliver to students who reside in other States or Territories. 

** It is a condition of enrolment that you reside in Victoria and the REIV cannot issue any awards in the event you enroll into the course knowing you are not a Victorian resident and/or provide false information.  Where the conditions of enrolments are breached, no refund will apply.
