Course Outline

The Certificate IV in Property Services (formerly referred to as the 'licensing course') covers all the units prescribed by Consumer Affairs Victoria for the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate). There are 24 units in total and a full list of the units can be found on the 2015 REIV Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) enrolment form or licence course unit synopsis. Successful completion of the course will provide you with the Certificate IV qualification.

The qualification is comprised of 24 units, three of which are the units delivered for the Agent's Representative Course.  If you have completed the Agent's Representative course, you may receive three credit transfers towards this qualification. The balance of 21 units is obtained by attending contact classes throughout the year - each unit is scheduled every six–eight weeks or by enrolling in a Distance Education delivery program. You can decide how long you wish to take to complete the course (up to a maximum of 12 months for face-to-face delivery and 24 months for Distance Education) and organise a training schedule to suit your work and personal timetable.
