Completion of the course will provide you with a Certificate IV qualification.
How can I complete the course
Contact Classes
The REIV offers the agent’s representative course almost every week as a stand-alone course. This course comprises three of the 24 units required for licensing and must be completed prior to or at the beginning of the licence course. Course dates and availability can be found on the Agent's Representative page. The balance of 21 units is obtained by attending contact classes throughout the year - each unit is scheduled every six–eight weeks. You can decide how long you wish to take to complete the course (up to a maximum of 12 months) and organise a training schedule to suit your work and personal timetable. Please click on the following link for scheduled classes:

Distance Education
If the contact classes don't suit your schedule, you can elect to complete some or all of the units by DE. These can be done at any time. Students are provided with the email address of a tutor should they require any assistance. It is also recommended that after reading the learner guide, students attend the relevant tutorial to go over key elements of the unit.

Credit Transfers (CT)
If you have previously gained a statement of attainment for any of the units listed in the current course, then all you need to do is provide us with the statement of attainment from the Registered Training Organisation and you will be provided a credit transfer.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Students who completed their agent's representative course prior to the current training package will not be able to gain credit transfers, as there is no official mapping of these units. However, students may apply for RPL if they are able to demonstrate the current compentencies from these units. Please refer to the RPL Info sheet and the Unit Synopsis to identify if RPL is suitable for you.
