The World President of FIABCI (International Real Estate Federation), Judy Shenefield, will visit Melbourne from the 14–19 October to meet with the REIV and Victorian real estate agents.
REIV President Trevor Booth said that the Institute was pleased to host Ms Shenefield and she had picked a good time to visit Victoria.
“October is a very busy time for real estate in Victoria, with the spring selling season underway. This will allow Ms Shenefield to see the local market in action.
“Her visit also coincides with the 2012 REIV Awards for Excellence on the 18th of October. The awards are the opportunity for the REIV to highlight professional excellence in real estate.
“October is an excellent time to showcase real estate in Victoria,” Mr Booth concluded.
Australian FIABCI President Robyn Waters said the visit would also provide the opportunity for local real estate agents to learn more about the Federation.
“As the world is made smaller through the internet, it’s increasingly important to develop international relationships.
“FIABCI helps members acquire knowledge, develop networks and optimise business opportunities all over the world.
“FIABCI also provides access to the top professionals in the real estate profession and the most up-to-date market information in the world,” Ms Waters concluded.
