Neville Sanders
of Whittles has been elected as the President of the REIV for 2012-2013. He is a third-generation estate agent and has been actively involved in real estate for over 45 years.
Adrian Butera
of Compton Green was elected as the Senior Vice-President and Sophie Lyon of Philip Webb was elected as Vice President.
Mr Sanders said “I am honored to be elected as President. The REIV has a long and proud history of representing the entire profession and I look forward to leading it for the next year.
“The profession faces a number of challenges. The move from state based licensing and conduct laws to federal ones requires that the Institute stand up for both its Members and those buying, selling and leasing property in Victoria.
“The internet is continuing to have a transformational impact on real estate and it is important that the Institute helps to ensure its Members are both well informed and equipped with some of the tools necessary to prosper in this environment.
“I also would also like to thank Trevor Booth for his service over the past year. Trevor was a very active President and I will draw on his experience in my term,” Mr Sanders concluded.
