The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) was formed on 1 July, 1985 with the merging of the Real Estate and Stock Institute of Victoria (RESI) and the Real Estate Agents Association (REAA).
The RESI was formed in 1936 and the REAA in 1955.

What We Do
The Real Estate Institute of Victoria has been the peak professional association for the Victorian real estate industry since 1936.
Over 2000 real estate agencies in Victoria are Members of the REIV.
Members specialise in all facets of real estate, including: residential sales, commercial and industrial sales, auctions, business broking, buyers agency, property management, owners' corporations management and valuations.
REIV Members are located in city, rural and regional areas.
