Membership based decision making
As a Member, you have the opportunity to belong to a geographic Division and/or interest group Chapter. Through these groups you will be able to provide input and make recommendations to the Institute on matters affecting your business.
Meetings are held regularly – dates, times and venues are listed in the Members section of this web site. Members of Chapters and Divisions also have the ability to nominate for Members' Council, which is a decision-making forum that feeds directly to the Board of Directors.
The REIV Board of Directors consists of 10 licensed estate agents representing Chapters and Divisions. Election to the Board of Directors is made annually, with Board Members elected through Members' Council.
