The winner and runner-up of the Victorian Auctioneer of the Year Award will represent the REIV at the Australasian Real Estate Institutes’ Auctioneering Championships, to be held in Adelaide this year.

REIV Auction Conference
The annual REIV Auctioneers’ Conference will be held on Wednesday, 18 July.
Venue: The Arts Centre; 100 St Kilda Road, Melbourne
The conference will showcase a superb line-up of elite auctioneers who will share with you their experiences, extensive knowledge and insight into auctioneering and auction competitions.
REIV Novice Auctioneers’ Competitions
Are you a budding auctioneer and think you have what it takes to win the crowd and knock down the highest price? Then this competition is for you.
A novice auctioneer is someone who has never called an official auction. Each year the REIV hold the Novice Auctioneers’ Competition, which gives auctioneers in the making a chance to test out their skills on a live audience while also competing for the coveted title.

Finals will be held on Tuesday, 4 September 2012
Commercial & Industrial Novice Auctioneers’ Conference
Finals will be held on Thursday, 6 September
Australasian Real Estate Institutes’ Auctioneering Championship
The Australasian Real Estate Institutes’ Auctioneering Championship brings together the winner and runner-up of each of the Australian State REI auctioneering competitions and the winner and runner-up of the national REINZ auctioneering competition.
This is the most prestigious auctioneering competition in Australia and New Zealand, with the field of competing auctioneers representing the very best in skill and professionalism.
The 2012 Australasian Real Estate Institutes’ Auctioneering Championship will be held in Adelaide on 1-4 October.
