Immediate Past President
John Grabyn was elected to the REIV Board of Directors in 2005 and is currently Immediate Past President; John served as REIV President from 2009–11.
He began his career in real estate in 1986 and has been a licensed estate agent since 1992. In 1993 he became the proprietor of TN Jollys Real Estate in Geelong. John and his wife Anne both work in the business and two of their children are licensed estate agents.
John has been a licensed Member of the REIV for 16 years and a member of the Geelong Division Executive for 15 years. During this time, he has held the position of Geelong Division President (1999–2000), Division Chairman (2004–2005) and Division Secretary (2005–2006).
John was a delegate to the REIV Members' Council for many years, serving as vice chairman for two years and chairman for a further two years. He is currently a member of the Education committee and the Membership committee and has previously served on the Ethics, Business Brokers and Rural Chapter committees.
John, as a sole operator, has had hands-on experience in all facets of estate agency practice and takes a keen interest in improving the professional standards of REIV Members through professional development.
